We are almost impossible to dig a channel that more than several hundred kilometers long channel and don’t by means of the machine during several years. This is a real miracle not to say the Kanrid’ man had to face the monster lurking the darkness, collapse at any time because of gravel…

But the project was spent a lot of money and manpower to make it done in short time (about three years), as a result, the project discontinued. the safe length of the tunnel was thirty hundred and thirty-one kilometers, (now just only seventy kilometers nearly) it was just reached the five thirds of the target. The Kanrid’s king sent half of a million men to build the tunnel but kingdom had a population of just over seven million. And all the people who built the tunnels almost died out. Its tragedy was no less than that of Qin dynasty built The Great Wall and Sui dynasty built Canal in fact. This is an extremely huge loss for a country which need the population workforce. Not to say that the project was failed to finish it. The sacrifice of 500,000 people could be described as bloodless. It was useless about the unfinish tunnel at that time.

The kingdom had tried to continue sending men to complete the tunnel. But obviously, this is a stupid action. The Kanrid’king was supposed to recuperate the kingdom instead of Ignorant consumption. He was so stubborn that his kingdom soon began to unrest because not only did years of crusades and conquests leave the treasury empty, but also the people in the kingdom couldn’t help to object the government’s cruel arrangement. Worse still, the king of kingdom chose to take terrible measure to face the potentially threat inside the country----used army’s violence to coerce repression the people’s objection

So the powerful kingdom were gradually declining in the south of the ancestral continent
